CHOOSE YOUR WORKFLOW

Start with the job you need to finish.

You can use any tool independently. There is no account to create, and using the inventory is not a prerequisite for reading a guide or downloading a worksheet.

I need a plan for tonight and the next shop

Open the 15-minute kitchen reset. Read the appliance thermometer, choose up to three foods needing attention, give each one an action, then write a next meal and a shopping gap. The result is a short plan you can print or export as CSV.

Use this when you do not want to maintain a full inventory. Start with one shelf and one meal; add detail only when it changes what you will do.

I keep buying food I already have

Use the local inventory to record quantities and storage locations. Before shopping, search for the ingredient, check the actual shelf, update its quantity, and add only the shortage to the shopping list.

The app also counts entries you mark as discarded. Those counts describe inventory records; they do not measure kilograms, servings, or money. Use the waste worksheet if you need that detail.

I want to keep package and opened dates together

The expiry tracker stores the label phrase, the entered date, an opened or prepared date, a storage location, and a short note. Use it when date context matters more than inventory quantities.

The attention list sorts the dates you enter. It does not send reminders or check recalls in the background. Open it during your own regular review and use the date methodology to interpret the display.

I need a reusable shelf review

Start the pantry checklist with a refrigerator, freezer, or pantry template. Remove irrelevant tasks, add household-specific checks, then print it or download a CSV. Reset the checks for your next review; the wording remains available in the same browser.

I want to understand the cost of discarded food

First use the one-week waste worksheet to record the food, amount, reason, and estimated cost. Then enter weekly category totals into the waste calculator. Its monthly and annual numbers project that weekly estimate; an unusual holiday or travel week will give an unusual projection.

The calculator inputs last for the current page session. Export the calculation if you need to keep it.

Choose one home for your records

The inventory, expiry tracker, checklist, and kitchen reset each keep separate records. Adding an item in one does not copy it to another. Choose the workflow you will actually revisit, rather than entering the same food several times.

For a shared household or device change, use an exported file or a printed list and agree who maintains the current copy. Read the setup and backup walkthrough before relying on browser storage.
